It is a common mis-conception that having more questions and more objectives will make the study better. On the contrary, a good research study is very focused and can comprise literally ONE Key Research Question and therefore, ONE Objective. That one key question should reflect in the title of the project, should be the focus for the background, purpose, rationale and the Literature Review.
For a 3rd year or Honours research project, you only need to have one key question and you might have some sub-questions of that question.
